The Corporate Story Sponsors Historic Walks in 2012 Windsor Festival

by Our News Desk

The Corporate Story is proud to be sponsoring the Historic Walks programme within this year’s Windsor Festival.

Following last year’s sponsorship of the innovative concept concert Kiss Me Goodbye, we are this year turning our attention to Windsor’s history.

Within the framework of the Festival, which runs from 17 to 30 September, we are sponsoring a number of Historic Walks in and around Windsor which provide fascinating insights into the town’s rich and colourful past.

They tell the stories of the place where we work, just as we tell the stories of our client organisations.

Our sponsorship celebrates our first year of operating out of Windsor, having relocated here in April 2011.

The year 2012 also witnessed the publication of our second major work of corporate history. Micronutrients, Macro Impact: The story of vitamins and a hungry world appeared in February, and tells the story of the first 25 years of the humanitarian initiative and nutrition think-tank Sight and Life, which is sponsored by the Life Sciences & Materials Sciences company DSM.

Micronutrients, Macro Impact followed the 2008 publication of Tomorrow’s Answer’s Today: The history of AkzoNobel since 1646.

Below is an overview of the wide range of Historic Walks we are sponsoring this year.
